Running For Autism

Johnson Elementary School parent Kris Laskey ran more than six miles and raised $2,250 for special education and an autism support group. Laskey’s son, kindergartner Luke Laskey, has autism. She ran on the Team Luke relay team in the Flying Pig Marathon in May, raising money through donations and T-shirt sales.

Is The Vaccine Thimerosal To Blame For Autism

Many parents in this day and age are worried that autism may be caused by vaccines that are given to children when they are infants. Many studies have been done on this subject. Nearly all of the leading health organizations including the CDC and the NIH say that there is no relationship between vaccines and autism.
